Homework for weekend of Feb.6-7

Math quiz upcoming!
On Friday, Feb. 12, there will be a Math quiz on the following concepts (see pages 150-161 of the Math Makes Sense textbook):
- measuring area of rectangles and squares
- estimating areas of shapes - using benchmarks, using symbols (*, X, etc.)
- different shapes with the same area (show equations) - ie. a rectangle with an area of 12 square cm could be 4x3, 6x2, or 12x1
- should you measure in square cm or square metres? Which unit makes the most sense to use?
- Reflect-style questions - thoughtful answers that require more explanation than just a number answer
